He served under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Department of Posts, Government of India. Throughout his government service, he performed his responsibilities with honesty, dedication, discipline, and efficiency.
During 1985–1986, he also worked on deputation as Office In-charge (Marketing) at Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), where he contributed to organizational development and administrative excellence.
After an illustrious career, he retired from the Department of Posts, Dak Bhawan, New Delhi, in December 2007 as Postmaster.
